About myself

[I am on the market for a new position for 2026-27]

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics of Aarhus University. In 2022–24, I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Aarhus University and FAIR at NHH Norwegian School of Economics. I am affiliated to the Economic Science Laboratory at the University of Arizona.

I am a micro-economist and my research centers on experimental economics and the economics of discrimination. I draw on several other fields, mostly behavioral and labor economics, but also education and political economy.

My work has been published in the Journal of Political Economy, JEBO, and Economic Inquiry, and I am the recent recipient of a DFF Research Project 1 grant (approx. 425,000 EUR or 500,000 USD) to work on beliefs about gender differences and actual differences.
